I would be remiss if I did not mention what an amazing weekend we just celebrated with ColorFest.
We cannot thank our sponsors enough for helping us provide a top- notch weekend for our community and our visiting community. So much went into making this event happen, and we were thankful to have so many helpers.
A special thank you to Pagosa Springs High School, and Valor Academy for all the labor and challenging work they provided for us. Our high school students in Pagosa Springs are one of a kind. A special thank you to our pilots and all our volunteers for making this an utterly amazing event.
As we move into our fall and winter seasons, we would like to announce it is time for our 2026 Business Happy Hour lottery.
Why should your business sponsor a Business Happy Hour? If you have moved locations, added new products, or if you have not sponsored a Business Happy Hour in a while or ever, this is for you. Business Happy Hours are a wonderful way to advertise your business and strengthen ties with other members in the community.
You do not have to register alone; you can also partner with another business to double your chances on being picked to host a business happy hour. Should your business be in the same shopping center or block, reGister together to have a Happy Hour “block party.”
You can also partner with a nonprofit so that the nonprofit has a unique opportunity to share its mission and vision for the community.
Another way would be to partner with another business that does not have a brick-and-mortar building and showcase both of your businesses together.
These Business Happy Hours are more than fun because these are great opportunities to visit with your peers, network and brainstorm together. We are all in business together to help each other out, and this is one way to do that and catch up with each other.
For 2026, Business Happy Hours will be on Thursdays. It’s the same fun and networking, just a day earlier on Thursday evenings. We hope everyone will register for this fantastic opportunity.
