Come for labs, stay for lunch and a keynote address…

Fall is in the air, and the Archuleta Health Fair & Expo is right around the corner. Join us on Saturday, October 4, for a day that supports your health and wellness. Returning this year is the always delicious farm-to-table lunch. When you register for the event (here) you can also register for lunch. Lunch will begin at 11 am and feature ingredients from local and regional farmers and ranchers. Additionally, while enjoying the meal prepared by Chef Todd, you can participate in the keynote discussion. We are excited to announce that this year’s keynote speakers are Stacey Foss and Dr. Asit Goswami, who will share on the topic ‘Stress and Health – Practical Tools for Everyday Resilience’.

Stacey Foss is a Licensed Addictions Counselor who has worked in the field of behavioral health for over twenty years and has been working alongside the Archuleta County community since 2011. Stacey values the importance of whole health wellness when working with behavioral health needs and supporting individuals to define their personal definition of wellness. Dr. Asit Goswami is the Medical Director of Acute Care at Pagosa Springs Medical Center. With a lifelong interest in yoga and meditation, he brings together medicine and mindfulness in service of community well-being.

Don’t wait, register today to attend the Archuleta Health Fair & Expo. Those who register before the event will get entered into a drawing for a soaking pass to the Springs Resort. To register, visit Healthy Archuleta’s website.
