CONE ZONE: Sip, Stroll and Win at ‘Wednesday Wine Walk’… July 30

Join us on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, for the Wine Walk and Cone Zone Update, and support our downtown businesses.

Stroll through downtown with a glass in hand and soak up summer vibes and community updates. We’ll have a Cone Zone table along the route where you can:

  • Enter to win one of three $100 gift cards to downtown businesses
  • Enter to win two day passes to soak at The Springs Resort & Spa, generously donated by our County Commissioners
  • Snag a limited-edition Coney Z bag — only 100 available
  • Learn about the latest updates on the Highway 160 reconstruction and how we’re supporting our local businesses

Do you want to include a coupon, flyer, or giveaway in the Coney Z bags? We’re inviting all downtown businesses to contribute items! Just contact Main Street Coordinator Kathleen McFadden (Kat@pagosaspringscdc.org or 970-264-3023) by noon on July 29 to schedule a pickup.

Bags will be handed out first come, first served, so if you have a limited quantity, those will go out first. Don’t miss this chance to get your business in front of 100 event-goers and show your support for Main Street!

Tickets for the Wine Walk are only $10 (cash only please!) and all proceeds go to the Main Street Business Assistance Fund. A big shout out to Pagosa Mountain Rotary for sponsoring this event and donating all the wine. We’re also incredibly grateful to Archuleta County Commissioners Veronica Medina, Warren Brown, and John Ranson, who each personally contributed funds to make the Springs Resort & Spa day pass giveaway possible.

Let’s walk, wine, shop, and support our downtown together.

Save the Date: August Cone Zone Update
Mark your calendar for Tuesday, August 13 from 5:30–7:30pm at the Archuleta County Fairgrounds.

CDOT will host a public Open House to announce a major milestone and share a more detailed look at the construction timeline and what to expect in the months ahead. Don’t miss this important opportunity to stay informed and engaged!

Business Assistance Update
We know our businesses are feeling the impact of construction, and we’re here to help. Two programs are currently available:

Low-Cost Loan Program. The loan program is now live! Businesses affected by construction can apply for loans between $1,000–$10,000. Download the application here.

Archuleta County Grant Program. Archuleta County has officially launched its grant program to support Cone Zone businesses. For details and an application, please visit the Archuleta County website or contact:
