Archuleta Seniors, Inc. (ASI) is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Executive Director to lead our nonprofit organization in delivering vital programs and services that promote independence, wellness, and social connection for older adults in Archuleta County.
Archuleta Seniors, Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that seeks to enhance quality of life for older adults in Archuleta County through meaningful services that support and encourage dignity, inclusion, and active aging. ASI operates the local Pagosa Springs Senior Center and is the sole provider of Meals on Wheels, congregate, and grab and go meals for Archuleta County’s 60+ community.
We offer enriching health and wellness programs, caregiver support, community engagement activities, and operate an innovative Community supported Agriculture Project that provides supplemental Nutrition to Archuleta County Seniors year-round, including fresh produce from local farms and our own Grow Dome that provides fresh produce to our Community Café Kitchen. Our mission is to promote independence and advance community resilience by empowering individuals who are 60 and better, their families, and other community stakeholders.

ASI offers a collaborative, mission-driven team and supportive board of directors along with the opportunity to lead innovative community-based programs in a beautiful rural setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and oversee daily operations, programs, and participative management of staff
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, donors, partners and local government
- Develop and manage budgets, grant funding, and fundraising initiatives
- Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold high standards of transparency and accountability
- Champion the mission and advocate for older adults in our community
Qualifications:
- Proven nonprofit or community leadership experience (3+ years preferred)
- Proven team builder with excellent communication and relationship skills
- Demonstrated success in fundraising, staff supervision, and program development
- Strong fundraising, grant writing, and budget management skills
- Familiarity with aging services, food access, or rural health preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Public Administration, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, or related field a plus
