Apache Nugget Travel Center and Casino to Reopen on February 14

Apache Nugget Corporation, a provider of hospitality and entertainment experiences across northern New Mexico, has announced that its casino near Cuba, New Mexico will reopen on February 14.

“Our Cuba casino was a popular community hub before the COVID-19 pandemic forced us to close,” said Tony J. Amormino, President and CEO of Apache Nugget Corporation. “We’re thrilled to be back and better than ever, delivering the best experience and amenities this side of Las Vegas to the region. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to Cuba.”

The Apache Nugget Travel Center & Casino is located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 550 and State Highway 537, about 10-15 miles northwest of Cuba.

The Apache Nugget casino near Cuba will feature:

  • 80 of the newest slot machines available anywhere
  • A wall full of electronic table game stations, with everything from blackjack to video poker and craps to baccarat

The community is invited to celebrate the reopening with Apache Nugget at a ceremony in the casino on February 14, beginning at 1pm. Dignitaries from the community, the Jicarilla Apache tribe and Apache Nugget will attend and speak. As plans are finalized, more information will be shared.
