‘Call Your Mother Tour’ Concert in Durango Rescheduled

The American Authors’ ‘Call Your Mother Tour’ concert, initially scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, October 29, has been rescheduled to Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College.

Known for their chart-topping, multi-platinum singles, including the hit anthem “Best Day of My Life,” American Authors have achieved global recognition. Their music has been featured in over 600 movie trailers, TV shows, commercials, and even as the theme song for the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Lead singer Zac Barnett remains optimistic, saying, “The best day of our lives is still yet to come. We just want to keep going.”

Durango’s own Ely Cartwright is opening the spring performance. His blend of indie-folk and 1970s Laurel Canyon singer-songwriter vibes has captivated audiences for the past twenty years. His latest project, One Take Sessions, offers raw, unfiltered performances reflecting everyday life’s beauty, heartbreak, and connections.

Tickets are available for $45, $35, and $25 at www.durangoconcerts.com or by calling the Community Concert Hall Box Office at 970-247-7657. All tickets previously purchased for the October 29 date will be honored for the rescheduled event. If you need a refund, please contact the Box Office or email concerthall@fortlewis.edu. Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days.

The Community Concert Hall is a not-for-profit, multi-use performance venue located on the campus of Fort Lewis College. Its ability to bring a diverse spectrum of shows to Southwest Colorado is made possible through a partnership with the college, a state-supported, independent institution of higher education, and financial and in-kind contributions from generous community members.
