Welcome the The 73rd Annual Archuleta County Fair!

Day One is in the books and it was just a start to Fun Fun Fun. The hot temps did not slow the show and attendance grows day by day.

Admission is free, parking is free with shuttles moving everyone right into the center of the action. So much to see and enjoy the great sense of community this great County creates every year.

Many volunteers plan and organize a unique experience for all who attend. Thursday is just the start and each day following presents exciting events for all ages. The open exhibits this year are especially nice in the Exhibit Hall and Stith Room.

The “Timeless Tradition” of 4H, Children’s Games and Jumbo Jump Houses. Several arts and crafts booths, western wear, groovy gifts and games of skill. Local celebrities and politicians, clubs and non-profits share their talents with friends.

Several tasty food trucks are available with lots of cold drinks, snow cones, ice cream and libations.

Thursday’s Rodeo Grounds Live Concert was Western rock band “Ricochet”. Very entertaining with many singing along to hits they recognize.

Friday has plenty to do on the schedule with Wild Man Phil, Mechanical Bull Riding, Pie Eating Contest and at 7PM The Bares,Brons and Bulls Tough Enough to Wear Pink Event in the Rodeo Arena.
And the list goes on with Live Music Dance to Bo DePena Band.

Don’t miss all the fun. Pick a day or evening and spend some time with friends and neighbors, visitors and performers.
