The 15th Annual Chamber of Commerce Car Show is in the books, with another fantastic showing. Weather was lovely, and attendance was as good as any of the best years I’ve seen.
Everyone enjoyed the great variety of vehicles on display. Always hard to pick favorites, people’s choice and best in show. Show cars from around the Four Corners area really get excited for the Pagosa Springs show. Locals and visitors get nostalgic over their first car and memories of sweet times.
About 100 entries compete for the bragging rights and accolades for their skills and hard work.
The music entertainment on the Pagosa Springs Portable Stage was excellent, From Austin, TX Garrett LeBeau on Friday nite. Then on Saturday, locals “Group Therapy” and solo act Sean DeLand really rocked. The live performances included plenty of great hits, just right for a summer car show.
The pinup contest had several entries and spectators enjoyed the fun vintage tradition.
Exciting to see all the motor machines buffed and polished — or not — to the perfect specs of each owner. The food vendors kept everyone fed and hydrated with tasty fare.
As always the Pagosa Springs Chamber of Commerce worked hard to bring this annual event together.
It’s not an easy task and we need to be grateful for their efforts to the community and businesses of Pagosa Springs.
