Pagosa Car Show Scheduled for June 7 and 8

The 15th annual Pagosa Springs Car Show is slated to be held June 7 and 8.

This annual event will be held on Lewis Street. With a breather on the construction that was scheduled for U.S. 160, the show will be in full swing on both days.

Friday night’s festivities will begin at 5pm with the Street Party and the initial showing of cars. Plan to make it an evening of fun as popular musician Garrett LeBeau, from Austin, Texas, will be performing on Friday night. LeBeau’s eclectic music will definitely be an addition to the annual display of cars. Add on the variety of food and retail vendors, and you can easily make it an evening of fun.

On Saturday, the Show and Shine will begin at 9am, with awards taking place at about 2:30pm. Come out and vote for your favorite cars as they vie for the coveted People’s Choice award. There will be even more food and retail vendors on this day, as well as a swap meet. For all you antique parts seekers, this is the place to buy or sell your wares.

Vendor space is open. Please contact Events Coordinator Naomi Lindquester for information regarding a booth space. Also on Saturday will be some demonstrations and possible activities — new to the Car Show this year.

While the early bird pricing has passed, there are still spaces open where you would receive a free T-shirt and dash plaque with your registration. Registration is easy. Visit the Chamber of Commerce website at www. pagosachamber.com.
