The Archuleta County Fair Board will host a fundraising event, “May the 4th Get You BootScootin’”, on May 4 from 6 to 9pm at the Archuleta County Fairgrounds.
Country musician and local favorite Tyler Brandon will headline the event. Entry fees from the Bootscootin’ will benefit the 73rd Annual Archuleta County Fair.
Tickets are $15 on the day of the event and are available at the door; 17 and under are free. Food trucks will be on-site, along with a cash bar sponsored by Rugby’s Rescue.
Weather permitting, the fair board hopes to showcase exciting new changes at the fairgrounds by hosting the event outside in the newly remodeled 4-H outdoor courtyard event space.
“The 4-H Courtyard opens up the opportunity for dancing under the stars after a beautiful Archuleta sunset,” said Fair Coordinator Tonya Steadmon. “We can’t think of a more
fun way to spend a Saturday night all while supporting a good cause.”
The 4-H Shooting Sports will also be a part of the fundraising, with a portion of sales from one of the food trucks going toward the program.
The fairgrounds are located at 344 Highway 84.
