Housing Needed for Young Habitat Volunteers This Summer

Habitat for Humanity of Archuleta County is seeking lodging options for 8 young adults, for six weeks this summer

We’re hoping the invaluable AmeriCorps NCCC Members will be returning this summer, but first, they need to find a host for six weeks. These volunteers were instrumental in finishing the three homes we constructed during 2023, and we’d love to have them back.

They range in age from 18-23 and have proved to be critical to our plan to build 15 Homes in five years.

Before we get the go-ahead to sponsor them in Pagosa Springs this year, we need to ensure they have secure lodging. What we’re still looking for is a place where they can sleep (one shared room is fine, as they have AmeriCorps-issued cots), a bathroom, and a kitchen.

Please contact us at office@habitatarchuleta.org or call 970-264-6960 to learn more about these dedicated young folks.
