Wolf Creek Ski Area Sees 10 Inches From Latest Storm

Holiday skiers and snowboarders — as well as Santa Claus — enjoyed ten inches of fresh Christmas snow at Wolf Creek Ski Area in southern Colorado.

Guests enjoyed the replenished slopes of Wolf Creek, which is 100% open with nine lifts operating, servicing 1,600 acres of terrain.  All lifts are operating from 8:30am to 4:00pm daily.  The current midway snow depth is 31 inches with powder/packed powder with early season conditions and unmarked obstacles.  Wolf Creek’s year-to-date snowfall total is currently 80 inches.

Santa visited Wolf Creek on Christmas Day, wishing the skiing public a Merry Christmas while taking a few more turns.

December 26-31, Lift tickets will be at Peak Rates.  Lift Ticket Pickup Boxes are available in the Base Camp Building for guests who have pre-purchased regular adult, senior and children tickets.  Supersaver pass holders are blacked out today through December 31.

Wolf Creek has received 10 inches in the latest storm. Wolf Creek has a midway snow depth of 30 inches; with a year-to-date snowfall total of 80 inches. Conditions are Powder/Packed Powder with early season conditions and unmarked obstacles.

Okey Dokey is closed for construction.  Skiing public should take A-Way to Alberta or ride Treasure Lift to Tranquility to Looky Loo.

Ski/Snowboard School, Ski/Snowboard Rental and Treasure Sports are open with full services.

Raven Roost is now open from 9am to 3pm with pizza and the bar available from 11am to 3pm. Continental Espresso Bar is open until 2:45 daily.

The Fun Loop, The Meadow Loop, and Lake Spur Nordic Trails were groomed and track set on Saturday, December 23.
