READY, FIRE, AIM: Marxist Bankers Want to Destroy America

With the end of the Cold War, many Americans justifiably believed communism had been defeated. But American Marxists have gained more influence than ever before…

— from the Heritage Foundation website, November 2022.

The Marxists are ruining America.

I mean, the Marxist bankers.

It pretty much goes without saying, that Marxists are bad people.  They want nothing more than to destroy our culture, rewrite our history, and generally make everyone into slaves.

To accomplish that, the Marxist bankers have — as of last week — raised the interest rate on a 30-year fixed mortgage to above 8%.

From Forbes magazine, October 6, 2023:

Today’s current average mortgage rate on a 30-year fixed mortgage is 8.07%, up 0.03 percentage points from the previous week.

We hear people complaining about American Marxists doing other bad things, but in my book, charging a 8.07% interest rate is about the worst thing they’ve done, so far.

There are Marxist bankers in other countries as well, but the Americans are among the worst.  The Marxist bankers in China, for example, are currently charging 5.99% for mortgages. (4.2% for first-time home buyers.)

Of course, things can always be worse.  For example, the mortgage interest rate in Russia is 13%.  But we already knew very well, back in 1917, that they were Marxists.

Marxist bankers, seeking to bring us all to ruin for their own private profit, are not a new occurrence here in America.  If you don’t mind a little history lesson, read the story of William Duer, one of the leading Marxist bankers during the American Revolution, and certainly a man ahead of his time.

The High Crimes And Misadventures Of William Duer, The Founding Father Who Swindled America, by Abram Brown, in Forbes magazine.

Remarkably enough, Duer ended up in debtors prison in 1792, a full 26 years before the birth of Karl Marx.

A bunch of people, who recognized the dangers of Marxism, tried to occupy Wall Street a few years back. They called their protest, “Occupy Wall Street”.

Not a terribly creative name, but it got the point across, I guess.

The protest, which took place mainly in Zuccotti Park, lasted 59 days before it was broken up by the New York City police. You would think 99% of America would be too big to fail, but it was actually the Marxist bankers who were too big to fail.  Meanwhile, the 99% have failed, over and over.

And now we have this 8.07% interest rate, when you want to buy a house for your family.  To put a roof over your children’s heads.

If that’s not a clear example of Marxist evil, I don’t know what is.

Yes, the bankers might give you an auto loan for only 5.99% (if you shop around) but not everyone can fit their whole family into a car, as their place of residence.  Especially if you have pets.

It’s gotten to the point where you need to be a Marxist in order to afford an actual house.

The best description I’ve found of the dangers posed by Marxists comes from the Heritage Foundation website.

Cloaking their goals under the pretense of social justice… Marxists will achieve what the Soviet Union never could: the subjugation of the United States to a totalitarian, soul-destroying ideology.

Unless we are vigilant. And a growing number of us are, indeed, aware, as the Heritage Foundation points out.

A growing number of Americans are aware of the depth of the infiltration of their culture by insidious ideas, but do enough understand the long-term ramifications?  Americans’ first task therefore, in reversing the tide of cultural Marxism, is to ensure that more of the public understands both the roots and the consequences of these ideas…

The roots of these dangerous cultural ideas? A belief that the “top” 1% of the country should possess 31.4% of our nation’s wealth, and the “bottom” 50% should own only 2.5%.

That’s Marxism, in spades.

But a growing number of us are becoming aware. And not a moment too soon.
