Pagosa Springs Medical Center Board Vacancy Announced

The Upper San Juan Health Service District (USJHSD) is seeking a member of the community to fill a vacancy on the Board of Directors.

The District operates the Pagosa Springs Medical Center and the EMS ambulance service in Archuleta County.

The USJHSD Board is responsible for steering the Upper San Juan Health Service District toward a sustainable future through sound, ethical high-level governance. The USJHSD mission is to provide quality, compassionate healthcare for each person we serve.

The USJHSD Board is made up of volunteer board members who have relevant expertise. Further, qualified candidates must be an eligible elector (registered to vote in the State of Colorado and own taxable real or personal property in the District which is comprised of all of Archuleta County and a small part of Hinsdale and Mineral Counties).

Qualified candidates interested in serving on the Board must submit completed self-nomination forms to USJHSD no later than 4:00pm MST on Friday, September 29, 2023.
