‘Freedom of Information’ will be the topic of the August 16 meeting of the Archuleta Democratic Club. The speaker will be Jeff Roberts, Executive Director of the Colorado Freedom of Information Coalition. The meeting is open to all, and we encourage anyone concerned about government office holders making laws or decisions in secret to attend this meeting. Handouts will be available for those attending.
The meeting will be at the PLPOA Clubhouse at 11:30 AM. A light lunch will be provided for those who RSVP to lynnfrederick1@gmail.com. If you prefer to attend by Zoom, please go to archuletadems.org to click on the meeting link.
Archuleta Democratic Club meets the third Wednesday of the month. It is open to anyone interested in the monthly topic.
It is also an opportunity to meet other Democrats in Archuleta County and to hear what is happening with the local Democratic Party.
