Archuleta County to Offer Land Parcels at Auction, Beginning July 15

On June 10, the Archuleta County government announced that it is preparing to sell, at auction, more than 35 parcels of land in the county.

The County obtained Treasurer’s Deeds on each parcel and then filed Quiet Title actions on each.  After receiving the final court orders, the County can now auction the parcels to the highest bidder.

Beginning on July 15, 2023, interested parties will be able to go to www.govdeals.com and select Real Estate/Land Parcels to bid on one or more of the parcels being auctioned.

Sites are all less than one acre and minimum sale amounts vary from $9,700 to over $54,000.

Each parcel is being auctioned “as-is” in its current condition and Archuleta County gives no warranty with respect to usability of the property.  It is highly recommended that potential bidders do a physical inspection of the parcel prior to placing a bid.

The parcels will be conveyed by quit claim deed with deed restrictions that any residential structure constructed on the property cannot be used as a short-term rental (rental for less than 30 days) for a period of twenty years.
