A few days ago, I posted an article mentioning my hope that a student attending Pagosa Springs High School will write an urban planning article about supply, demand, and the price of residential homes in Pagosa Springs.
It would be a fun exercise for a student to create a summary table, and publish their opinion at the Pagosa Daily Post.
‘Real Estate Mindset’ is a YouTube channel — published by a very funny father with many kids — named Travis Spencer.
I do not have a free trial subscription to AirDNA so I finished Travis’ summary table for Pagosa Springs using Rabbu (free).
Recently, Travis walked his YouTube viewers through a few easy steps using Zillow (free), and AirDNA (free trial) to fill in a summary table:
Travis pointed out the substantial “hidden inventory” that presently does not exist on the MLS.
Travis then asked his Real Estate Mindset audience what could be the impact to the price of residential homes in Dallas, New York or Las Vegas if a substantial number of existing STR owners decide to stop short term renting their property, and instead decide to either: (1) Long term rent their property, or (2) Sell their property.
I think it would be a interesting to read a high school student’s perspective on supply, demand, and the price of residential homes
in Pagosa Springs.
