8am UPDATE, Friday, March 24
According to the Wolf Creek Ski Area website, Wolf Creek Pass was CLOSED on the West side, with an anticipated opening sometime around 8:30-9am today, Friday, March 24. The East side of the Pass is currently OPEN to the ski area — not to through-traffic.
Wolf Creek will update wolfcreekski.com as soon as we get the call that the gate on the West side is open.
Expect narrower-than-normal sections of highway, and please drive courteously.
Wolf Creek has received 67″ of snow over the last week! The all-natural snow depth is 158″ at the midway with a year-to-date total snowfall of 462″. Conditions are excellent with Powder/Packed Powder and extensive grooming throughout the mountain.
