The U.S. National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the Four Corners region of Colorado, starting at 5pm today, Tuesday, February 21, through Thursday morning, February 23.

Heavy snow, and blowing snow, is expected with total snow accumulations of 4 to 10 inches. Winds may be gusting 45 to 55 mph at times on Wednesday.

Near whiteout conditions are likely at times due to snow and blowing snow. Thunderstorms are also possible on Wednesday which could lead to higher wind gusts.

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.

The latest road conditions in your state can be obtained by calling 511.
