January Happenings at Wolf Creek Ski Area

Wolf Creek Ski Area has several clinics, races and specials for the month of January. Check out the variety of events and find something you might be interested in.

United Way Day is January 18. Lift tickets will be $73 for Adults. A portion of the proceeds will go to the benefit of United Way!

Ms. Mondays ski and snowboard clinic series are just for the ladies. Dates are January 9, 30, February 27 and April 3. Ms. Mondays are a packaged deal with a discounted lift ticket, 2-hour morning lesson ($107 for adults/$88 for seniors) and rental ($19 skis/$29 snowboards). The morning lessons will be for women looking to learn a new sport all the way up to refining your existing technique. An excellent, qualified female instructor will teach all of the lessons, for all ability levels which begin at 10am.

The Forever Young Clinic offers skiers and boarders age 50+ an all-mountain lift ticket for $62 ($43 for seniors), along with a 2-hour morning lesson for $45! All lessons for all abilities begin at 10am.

Take a break early in the week and explore Wolf Creek with the Turns & Techniques Series. Tuesday Turns is for any skier/snowboarder looking to get into the sport up to refining your existing techniques. Skiers and boarders can purchase a lift ticket for $62 ($43 for seniors) and a 2-hour morning lesson of any ability for just $45! Lesson begin at 10am.

Camp Robbers for Skiers and Raven Riders for Snowboarders (New for the 2022-2023 season) allows your child to discover and explore a passion they could enjoy their entire lifetime! Wolf Creek offers a four-week skiing & snowboarding series for children 5 to 8 years old. This series can introduce your child to the sport or build on your child’s existing skill set, all while in a fun environment. Little shredders are grouped by ability and stay with their class each Saturday of the series, encouraging fun socialization and friendships. Children will experience a terrain garden, fun races, and education on mountain safety. Lift ticket, four hours of instruction, lunch and snacks are all included each week for one great price.

The first race of the Wolf Creek Challenge Series is Saturday, January 28. The 40+ gate Giant Slalom course on middle and lower Charisma is open to teams and individuals. All proceeds support the Wolf Creek Ski Team.

Wolf Creek’s Fun Race Series offers skiers and boarder the opportunity to race your friends or just challenge your own fastest time. Free and open to skiers and boarders of all ages and abilities. Sign up is from 9:30am to 10:30am in the Raven’s Nest building and the race is from 11am to 1pm on Charisma run.

College Day is January 29. offers college students with a current class schedule and valid college photo ID a $62 lift ticket for the day!
