Growing Hatch Green Chiles… in Pagosa Springs?

Hatch chile in Pagosa! Well, not quite: Arboles. Yes, Arboles native Josh Kerrigan is in his first year of raising 3.5 acres of Hatch chiles and will be at the Pagosa Farmers Market this Saturday (all day) with the roasting equipment he build himself.

You can call or text Josh for pre-orders at 970-769-1809 for pick up at the Saturday Market.

While at the Market, check out other local products from grass fed meat and fresh produce to gorgeous flowers and just maybe, if we are lucky… luscious red tomatoes.

We are planning a couple more food demos before end of season which we may be extending into October…if the temperatures hold.

We continue to accept SNAP cards and distribute Double Up Bucks with every $20 purchase; and we also accept AAA coupons from qualified Seniors.

Find the Pagosa Farmers Market on the mountain side of the Eastside Market from 9am – 12noon.
