To celebrate the extended season, Wolf Creek has added Local Appreciation Days, College Days, Fun Races and a Costume Contest to the the special events schedule. A special events calendar for April can be found here.

Saturday, April 9, Wolf Creek will have a Costume Contest. The competition will kick off at noon on the Wolf Creek Lodge (Upper Lodge) Sundeck. Competitors will be divided into two age categories; adults for skiers and boarders ages 13 and older and children for riders and ripers ages 12 and under. The most original costume in each category will win a 2022-23 Season Pass. Second and third place prizes will also be awarded. Costumes should be family friendly and appropriate with creativity and craftmanship valued. Participates must have a lift ticket or 21-22 Wolf Creek season pass.

Per tradition, the Easter Bunny will visit Easter Sunday and host an egg hunt at Wolf Pup Hollow. Easter Sunday, April 17 will also be a Local Appreciation Day where everyone is considered a local. Lift tickets will be $60 for adults, $41 for seniors and $31 for children.

Conditions are great after winter reappeared prior to the weekend. The all-natural snow depth is 96″ at the midway, with the year-to-date snowfall total of 377″. Conditions are packed powder/spring/powder with extensive grooming throughout the mountain. All lifts will be operating from 8:30am to 4:00pm through Sunday, April 17.

Skiers and riders who take advantage of the bonus operating days will be able to grab a tasty lunch or beverage from either the Wolf Creek Lodge or Continental Espresso Bar. Ski School, Ski Rental, Boarder Dome and Treasure Sports are all open through Easter Sunday. A great selection of t-shirts can be found in Treasure Sports.
