Wolf Creek Ski Area Extending Operations to Easter Sunday

Sunday, April 17, is Wolf Creek’s closing date for the 2021-22 ski season. The Spring Break crowd enjoyed excellent conditions with two back-to-back storms last week that refreshed the slopes for skiers and boarders. The midway base depth is at 109 inches and Wolf Creek’s year-to-date snowfall is 357 inches.

Spring Break week will wind down with a visit from Smokey Bear on Thursday, March 17. Smokey will be speaking with skiers and snowboarders about the Forest Service, the partnership between the Forest Service and Wolf Creek Ski Area, and of course wildfires. Smokey Bear will revisit the ski area March 22 and 24.

Tuesday Turns Ski & Snowboard Clinic with return March 29 with the final clinic of the season followed by a Local Appreciation Day Wednesday, March 30.

April kicks off with an eventful weekend. Saturday, April 2 features a College Day and Wolf Creek Challenge Series Super G Race followed by a Local Appreciation Day Sunday, April 3.

Additional events, including Local Appreciation Days, will be added to the extended schedule and announced on WolfCreekSki.com.

Wolf Creek’s Closing Date will feature a traditional Easter Egg Hunt hosted by the Easter Bunny. Skiers and boarders can celebrate closing day with lift tickets at Local Appreciation Rates.
