KSUT is hosting its Fall Fund Drive this week, September 20-24. Pledge your support for KSUT, and you’ll be entered into our grand prize drawing for a Mexican getaway!
KSUT will fly the grand prize winner and one guest to Mexico for an eight-day, seven-night vacation to one of Vidanta’s six resort destinations along the Mexican coast. The winner will choose from one of six luxury resorts in Los Cabos, Nuevo Vallarta, Puerto Vallarta, Puerto Pinasco, Riviera Maya and Acapulco. Cost of lodging at these resorts ranges from $550 to $1,310 per night. KSUT will provide airfare and lodging for two. Some suites can accommodate up to six guests; additional guests’ travel not included. Must be used by June 30, 2022. Drawing to be held at the conclusion of the fund drive at 6 PM on Friday, September 24.

KSUT is the Four Corners’ home for popular public radio programs such as Morning Edition, All Things Considered, Fresh Air, Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me!, This American Life, and others. The station broadcasts from studios in Ignacio, Colorado.
This year’s drive will be a bit more streamlined than in the past. With the Delta variant of COVID-19 hurting many local businesses, we won’t have as many prize drawings as usual. You can still expect Day Prizes like Growers & Gardeners Day and Outdoor Gear Day. And we’ll hold special drawings for first-time members, new sustaining members, and sustainers who increase their monthly amount or make an additional one-time gift.
Prizes are bonuses for our members. Many of you have told us that you support KSUT because you rely on local, national and international news from NPR and the BBC; and that songs on the Music Blend and our locally-produced specialty programs have helped you get through difficult times these past 18 months.
As a member, your support allows us to continue providing essential services to listeners, nonprofits, and local businesses. Your generosity has allowed us to hire two reporters to cover COVID-19, wildfires, and other stories from a local angle. Your gifts have helped us keep our live music events strong, even during times of shutdowns, restrictions, and uncertainty.
Mostly, your support has allowed us to move into the brand-new Eddie Box, Jr. Media Center. Our Tribal Radio staff has partnered with other media organizations to produce programs like Native Braids and Native Lens. We’ve added locally-produced music programs on Four Corners Public Radio like Close Enough For Jazz and Down Home Girl. Our news team has launched Four Corners Edition, a weekly local news magazine. And our digital presence has increased through the launch of our new air pocket player, upgraded features to ksut.org and tribalradio.org, and a renewed focus on social media.
