19th Hole Concert Series Kicks Off Tomorrow, with Sax Man Bob Hemenger

Tomorrow, Thursday, July 8, Bob Hemenger will be performing at the 19th Hole Concert Series at the Pagosa Springs Golf Course at 5:30pm to help raise money for Chimney Rock Interpretive Association (CRIA) and 3 other Archuleta County non-profits. Bob is an extremely talented sax player of jazz, blues, soul, pop, and Dixieland music.

The 19th Hole Concerts Series pairs an Archuleta nonprofit with a local music talent on Thursday evenings, July 8 through July 29, to offer a fun and entertaining event. Food from the grill, beer, wine and signature cocktails will be available for purchase. Concert-goers should bring a camp chair or blanket, and please leave pets at home. The cover charge is a $10 donation which supports the four selected nonprofits. At the end of the concert series, all proceeds are pooled and distributed equally to the four featured organizations.

For over 20 years, Chimney Rock Interpretive Association (CRIA), a non-profit 501 (c3), and its volunteers have shared the story of the Ancestral Puebloan people with thousands of visitors through tours and special programs at Chimney Rock National Monument. Historic places like Chimney Rock reflect the past while enriching our future, but without public support, CRIA would be unable to provide the interpretive program that keeps Chimney Rock’s history alive. Your donations help to fund educational projects, volunteer recruitment/training, and the interpretive programs that help keep Chimney Rock National Monument a local attraction.

Performed in a safe, physically-distanced outdoor venue, the 19th Hole Concerts are sure to be a comfortable way for community-minded music lovers to re-engage and connect with one another! Save the dates and plan to enjoy live, local music and beautiful scenery, while supporting local organizations.
