Capitalism is the best… right?
The purer, the better, no taxation, no Government involvement. ‘Dats ‘da best’..right? Small business depends on it to start, grow and prosper!
Want to know the ‘purest’ forms of capitalism? Well, it’s the narco and human trafficking industries… Billions of dollars in sales, and lots and lots of jobs! Yup, the opium farmers in Afghanistan are even using ‘green’ (solar) power to provide about two-thirds of the world’s heroin!
Maybe you know someone who’s been kidnapped? If not, rest easy; humans are being bought and sold into sex/work slavery worldwide by ‘entrepreneurs.’ Two shining examples of pure right-wind dogma… or has the MAGA-hat-wearing American made the US into an impoverished country?
For those stumbling a bit with that info, let’s ask the same question a little differently.
Is ‘pure greed’ good? Or just a reflection of the GOP’s mantra for being a member of the cult-of-selfishness.. So take those masks off… who cares about your fellow citizen?
GOP Senator Tom Cotton (no pun intended) of Arkansas just said “slavery was a necessary evil for the growth of America.” Don’t be shocked, because the pandemic has proven there is systemic racism in all the facets of our lives. But the apologists and twisters of truth swear, “There is no systemic racism in America.”
President Trump says the current national BLM protesters are “terrorists,” and to get more votes he started a “very special” para-military security group reporting only to him (not the Army or US Marshals or DHS or any known organization) that he sends into cities and states where he was going to lose the election anyway… to “bring law and order”, to loud applause from his supporters.
Nazi brown shirts anyone? Well maybe..because those brown and black folk are gettin’ mighty uppity!
Trump supporters couldn’t care if he’s been caught lying to everyone over 20,000 times in four years… he’s their guy! Or that he’s reduced America to its lowest standing, ever… he’s their guy. Or denies the pandemic and 140,000+ die… he’s their guy. He pardons loyalists regardless of their crimes… he’s their guy.
Wait, 90+% of born-again evangelists support Trump, regardless that he just wished his old social party friend (a recruiter of minor girls for sex rings) “well”… twice… he’s their guy
GOP political convention? Bad idea… as the good folk (his voters) will catch COVID-19… but let’s send your kids back to school cause “they don’t catch the flu”…
Is Trump really your guy?
And… to cap last week off… Stuart Stevens, lifelong GOP advocate, Romney’s campaign manager, prolific effective GOP ad producer, just wrote a book titled “It Was All a Lie.” I’m sure the GOP faithful will see him as another of the unfaithful… regardless, let’s call it great week for Donald… he’s their guy!
