This Thursday, February 27, the Wetlands Riverwalk Preservation Group will present a program to our Pagosa Springs Town Council at their 5pm work session.
This newly formed group was formed with the support of Weiminuche Audubon Society here in Pagosa Springs. Our mission and purpose is to Protect, Conserve and Enhance the health and beauty of the Riverwalk Wetlands. We will be providing input from town citizens regarding working cooperatively with all stakeholders, dealing with our current and future resources, and enhancing the natural beauty and recreation opportunities of our unique warm water wetlands.
Our desire is to be consistent with the Town’s Comprehensive Plan.
The presentation will last approximately 35 minutes and we invite anyone interested to attend. Thank you!
