Yesterday in my Editor’s Note, at the beginning of Cynda Green’s op-ed piece, “OPINION: Please, Pagosa, Carefully Consider Short Term Rentals,” I mistakenly referred to the Pagosa Springs Town Council meeting as being scheduled on Tuesday (today) April 3. The Council generally meets on the first Tuesday and the third Thursday of each month.
In fact, the Council’s initial April meeting has been re-scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, April 4, to allow for the Town’s regular election to take place today, Tuesday April 3. The elected mayor and Council members will presumably be seated at tomorrow night’s meeting, which begins at 5pm.
