Town Seeking Public Comments on ‘East End’ Plan

The Town of Pagosa Springs is requesting public comments on the Final Draft for the East End Multimodal Transportation Concept Master Plan. Thank you to everyone who has provided valuable and insightful public input over the last year as your feedback has guided the Final Master Plan Concepts.

Now through October 16 is your opportunity to provide final comments on the Master Plan before the Town Council considers adopting the Final Master Plan that will guide future multimodal improvements that include sidewalks, trails, parking, access to businesses and public parks as well as frontage road and Highway 160 traffic flow.

To view the draft master plan concepts and participate in this virtual open house click here. This virtual open house is available through October 16.

Your final comments will shape the Final Master Plan for Town Council’s consideration for adopting this long-range Multimodal Master Plan for the East End in December 2022.

Four new public arts projects are being funded by the Town and should be completed by the end of this year. Also, be on the lookout for the “Glam the Can” pilot program to launch. This program will provide an alternative to encourage “hard to screen” dumpsters (downtown along Pagosa, Lewis and San Juan Streets) to be painted with artwork/murals instead of enclosing them.
