Online ‘East End Mutli-Modal’ Discussion Ends February 14

The Town of Pagosa Springs is collecting citizen input on several upcoming projects, through their online portal, MyPagosa.org.

The chance to participate in the East End Multi Modal Master Planning Project ‘virtual open house’ discussion will be ending on February 14.

Over the past few months, we’ve been working to assess the existing conditions and gather initial feedback from Town residents and businesses around the future for the East End. This open house summarizes some of the initial input and we’re asking you to weigh in. This open house summarizes some initial opportunities and challenges, asks for you to tell us some of your big visions, and concludes with a survey. This virtual open house will be open through February 14.

The East End Multi Modal Plan kicked-off in September 2021 and will be completed in summer 2022. So far, we’ve held a public open house on October 6, had walking tours on October 7, and have engaged the business community through conversations and a survey. We’re beginning the scenario development stage and will be excited to share some initial ideas with you in March.

Citizens can provide feedback to help guide the design considerations for the East End. Your feedback is valued and important. Here’s the link to the multi-modal ‘virtual open house’.

The Town of Pagosa Springs Parks and Recreation Department will be holding an in-person open house on March 9, 2022, 6pm at the Ross Aragon Community Center to gather input from the community for the next phase of the Yamaguchi Park Skate Park. The Town LUDC Update is in its final stages. Modules 1-3 of the draft Land Use and Development Code (LUDC) are available for public review, comments and questions. Please take your time to review the Executive Summary of Changes and provide your comments on the modules. Public comment will be accepted on the first 3 modules until February 25th. Any updates will be posted on the LUDC Update project page as they become available.
