The Weminuche Audubon Society chapter will be meeting at the Community United Methodist Church on Lewis Street for our October meeting on Wednesday, October 20. Set up and socializing will start at 6pm, with the meeting at 6:30.
Please check our website prior to the meeting for any restrictions in place to prevent the spread of COVID in our community.
In what is becoming an annual tradition, the October meeting will highlight the excellent wildlife photography and storytelling abilities of our members. Photographers are asked to bring several photos on a flash drive that can be shared on a screen. We also intend to broadcast the meeting over Zoom for those unable to attend the meeting in person. The meeting link will be posted on the events schedule on our website, www.weminucheaudubon.org.
Ethical considerations and the line between disturbing and appreciating wildlife come into play when we interact. You will find articles on these topics and more on the national Audubon website, audubon.org.
Chapter memberships will be available at the meeting. You may also join us by printing a membership form found on our website. Our meetings are open to the public.
