Pagosa Chamber to Host SBDC Advising Day for Local Businesses

The Pagosa Springs Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to host an upcoming SBDC Advising Day on October 19, giving local entrepreneurs, prospective business owners and established companies an opportunity to receive one-on-one guidance from the Colorado Small Business Development Center.

The advising day is designed to connect businesses with practical, confidential assistance on the issues that matter most: starting a business, strengthening operations, improving marketing, understanding finances, planning for growth or working through a current business challenge.

Colorado SBDC advising is offered at no cost, helping make professional business support accessible to entrepreneurs at every stage.

During individual appointments, business owners may discuss topics such as:

– Business planning and goal setting.

– Cash-flow management and financial projections.

– Marketing, branding and customer outreach.

– Startup requirements and business structure.

– Funding preparation and lender readiness.

– Hiring, expansion and operational planning.

– Technology, online presence and e-commerce opportunities.

Small businesses are central to the character and economic strength of Pagosa Springs. From restaurants, lodging properties and retailers to contractors, artists, professional services and outdoor-recreation businesses, local entrepreneurs create jobs, serve residents and provide the experiences that draw visitors to the area.

The Chamber encourages business owners to take advantage of this opportunity, even if they are not facing an immediate challenge. A dedicated conversation with an experienced business consultant can help clarify priorities, identify overlooked opportunities and create a more confident path forward.
