This coming Friday night — October 2 — Lickety-Split returns to spin up some hilarious characters and scenes all inspired by local legend Darcy DeGuise. Darcy starred in Thingamajig Theatre Company’s summer production of Come From Away and will be returning to the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts stage… but this time she’s playing herself.
Inspired by your suggestions, Darcy will tell true stories from her life and Lickety-Split actors will improvise a series of interconnected scenes inspired by her tales.
Darcy holds two bachelor’s degrees from Ohio University in Music and was a Young Artists apprentice at Cincinnati Opera. Now a teacher at Pagosa Springs High School, Darcy fills her free time with skiing (both snow types – we aren’t sure about water skiing), cooking, gardening, and walking her dog Bosco. We can’t wait to hear what Darcy has to say and then see what we come up with! Join the fun for this one-night-only event at PSCA!
