Pagosa Springs Community Development Corporation (PSCDC) is partnering with Colorado State University to develop a pilot project focused on workforce training designed specifically for Archuleta County. The training will be offered at no cost to our community and will focus on helping local residents qualify for jobs, succeed in the workplace and advance in their current positions.
To make the training effective, we need to understand the skill gaps employers are seeing firsthand. Which skills are most often missing among applicants, new hires or current employees? Which skills would make the greatest difference in your organization?
Please complete the survey and share it with HR professionals, supervisors and others in your organization who work directly with employees and can provide firsthand insight into workforce skill gaps. Multiple responses from the same organization are welcome.
The survey takes approximately five minutes to complete and is due by end of day tomorrow, Wednesday, July 29:
Your input will directly shape the training curriculum and help ensure the pilot addresses real workforce needs in Archuleta County.
If the pilot is successful, our community may become eligible for additional workforce training and funding.
