PAGOSA UU FELLOWSHIP: Who Doesn’t Love a Good Story?

Who doesn’t love a good story, told with thoughtfulness and intention?

This Sunday, July 19, the Pagosa Unitarian Universalist (UU) Fellowship is excited to offer a wisdom story at our regular Sunday morning gathering. Wisdom stories, told throughout the ages, express a theme or lesson of a universal message. Our resident storyteller and artist, Libby Krause will share a story about acceptance. The Fellowship is lucky to have her gifts as part of our inspiration. As a UU Fellowship we offer programing that is life-affirming and some have said, life-saving. In a world that seems to counter that message, we choose to engage in themes that uplift our emotions, while also acknowledging the sometimes painful realities of life.

We are also keeping with the framework provided by the UU Association asking each of us to Meet the Moment, and engage with our shared values in real-world ways. More to come from this dynamic message of hope and resilience.

For more information about other offerings, we encourage a look at our website, PagosaUU.org. The UU space is used as a Community Hub for the Pagosa community, and offers space for a variety of opportunities for spiritual growth and connection. The Tara Meditation Group is held most Sundays, 5:30-6:30 p.m. Email the Fellowship to be added to the list and receive information and notices about this meditation practice.

Qigong practice is held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday afternoons and all are welcome. The Wise & Wakeful Circle, continues to meet the second and fourth Saturdays at 10 am. The next gathering will be July 25.

The Pagosa UU Fellowship is located in the Greenbriar Plaza, Unit B-15, 301 N. Pagosa Blvd. on the north side facing the Pagosa Peak. We celebrate diversity and foster a spiritual home of acceptance, with love at the center.
