The Town of Pagosa Springs Dark Sky Steering Committee will host a booth at the Earth Day Celebration at Centennial Park on Sunday, April 26 from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
The event, with the theme ‘A Pause Amidst the Chaos’, is organized by the Southwest Organization for Sustainability, and will include local organizations, activities, and community information.
The Dark Sky Steering Committee booth will provide information on the group’s work related to Dark Sky Certification efforts, night sky preservation and lighting practices in the Town of Pagosa Springs.
The event will feature live music, drumming, wetlands tour, yoga, bike ride, solar car races, chalk art and more, from 10am until 3pm.
