CHAMBER NEWS: Pagosa Springs Chamber Marks 50 Years of Supporting Local Business

We are celebrating our 50th anniversary in 2026 with a full slate of events and renewed focus on supporting the local business community. We are marking the milestone with a new logo and expanded programming aimed at connection, recognition, and year-round economic vitality.

The Chamber’s anniversary year continues with a series of signature events that draw both locals and visitors. Beyond the Bottom-Line Business event co-sponsored with the Pagosa Springs Community Development Corporation April 29, the Car Show on June 12–13, and the Park to Park Artisan & Food Market over July 2–5 showcase local entrepreneurs, artists, and food producers while driving foot traffic to area businesses.

Later in the year, Colorfest’s hot air balloon rally, paired with the Passport to Pagosa Wine & Food Festival and the Bands & Brews Festival in September, and this year only the Colorado A250/C150 Drone Show on Saturday night, underscores Pagosa Springs’ reputation as a destination community with a strong small business backbone.

Beyond our headline events, we continue the day-to-day work of supporting businesses at every stage of growth. Monthly Maximize your membership classes highlight what all is included as a Chamber membership, and business happy hours on Thursdays to network with fellow business owners. Ribbon cutting ceremonies for new, relocated, or expanding businesses give owners added visibility through photos and coverage on all Chamber Social Media avenues.

Chamber newsletters are now produced every month, to keep members informed about upcoming events, business statistics, new and renewing members, and opportunities for advertising and sponsorship.

As we grow and attract new residents, entrepreneurs, and visitors, the we remain focused on connecting businesses with the resources they need to succeed. From hosting large community events to providing everyday support and recognition, the Pagosa Springs Area Chamber of Commerce is positioning its next 50 years around collaboration, resilience, and a shared vision of community.
