The Thanksgiving holiday has ushered in the busy shopping season, but Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) is offering a unique alternative to Black Friday shopping.
Today, Friday, November 28, CPW is excited to present ‘Fresh Air Friday’, a day when Coloradans and out-of-state visitors can visit a Colorado state park for free — a rare opportunity to experience Colorado’s great outdoors.
“What better way to spend the holiday season than exploring one of Colorado’s amazing state parks? Fresh Air Friday is a great opportunity for Coloradans and out-of-state visitors to take advantage of free access to the parks, try a new outdoor recreation activity and spend time with loved ones,” said Governor Jared Polis.
The free Fresh Air Friday event offers a chance to experience Colorado’s world-class state parks and live life outside, creating new outdoor memories with loved ones.
