Archuleta Health Fair & Expo Celebrates a Day of Health and Wellness

The 2025 Archuleta Health Fair & Expo, held on October 4, was a resounding success, bringing together a diverse array of health services, community organizations, and enthusiastic participants for a day dedicated to well-being. The event highlighted the importance of accessible health resources and fostered a strong sense of community commitment to a healthier Archuleta County.

The fair featured a wide range of activities and services, including hearing screenings, eye care services, a mobile vaccine clinic, and blood pressure readings. Oral health screenings and dental hygiene instructions were provided along with breast exams and student athletes were offered ECG heart screenings. Educational booths covered topics such as wellness, physical health, mental and behavioral health, and dental health, offering valuable information and resources to attendees.

The event also showcased a delightful Farm to Table Lunch by Chef Todd Stevens, emphasizing healthy eating with local ingredients.

The success of the 2025 Archuleta Health Fair & Expo would not have been possible without the incredible support and dedication of numerous individuals and organizations. We extend our deepest gratitude to Pagosa Springs High School for sharing their space to host the event and our generous sponsors who made this event possible.

We also want to thank all the vendors and exhibitors who participated, including a variety of wellness providers, dental health specialists, community organizations, healthcare providers, and farmers market vendors. Your presence and commitment to health education were invaluable. A special thank you goes to the many community organizations that contributed to the fair, providing information and engaging with participants. The event was powered by the tireless efforts of our dedicated volunteers, including phlebotomists, lab runners, registration staff, navigators, and lunch support. Your commitment ensured a smooth and welcoming experience for all attendees.

Finally, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to the entire community for showing up, engaging with the resources, and actively participating in a day of health and wellness. Your enthusiasm is a testament to our shared vision for a healthier Archuleta. The Archuleta Health Fair & Expo serves as a powerful reminder that health is not just a single event, but an ongoing journey. We encourage everyone to carry the spirit of this day forward, making health-promoting choices every day and working together to create a community where well-being is a constant priority for all.

The Archuleta Health Fair & Expo is an annual event dedicated to promoting health and wellness in Archuleta County by providing accessible health screenings, educational resources, and fostering community connections.
