July 2025 Sports Betting Data Shows Continued Growth In Colorado

New sports betting data from the Colorado Department of Revenue, Division of Gaming shows year-over-year growth for July in both total handle and total taxes.

July 2025 sports betting numbers show Colorado continues to grow, with a total handle of $352.3 million, a 9.96% increase on July 2024 for the month. Additionally, Colorado collected over $2.72 million in taxes in July 2025, a 14.59% increase over July 2024.

“Colorado’s continued growth in sports betting revenue is a testament to the success of a well-regulated market,” said Christopher Schroder, Director of the Division of Gaming. “These funds are vital for our state’s water conservation efforts. We remain committed to ensuring responsible gaming practices are at the forefront, providing resources and support for those who need it to maintain a healthy and sustainable gaming environment.”

Annual sports betting tax revenue is used by the Colorado Water Conservation Board for water conservation and protection projects.
