While the summer sun still lingers high over Pagosa Springs, there’s just enough time to catch the final sparks of magic at the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts. The 2025 Summer Repertory Season is down to its last two weeks, and what a season it has been. Since May, audiences have been whisked from Shakespearean London to the smoky underbelly of a Prohibition-era party to the refined — and occasionally murderous — drawing rooms of Edwardian England.
The joy has been in the contrasts: the cheeky, anachronistic wit of ‘Something Rotten!’; the lush, intoxicating rhythms of Andrew Lippa’s ‘The Wild Party’; and the gleefully macabre elegance of ‘A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder’.
Each production has been powered by a company of actors and creatives whose commitment and craft have kept the theatre buzzing all summer long.
In recognition of the extraordinary efforts of first responders working to protect our community during the nearby Oak Fire, Thingamajig Theatre is offering complimentary admission to local first responders for the remainder of the summer season. Department heads will be receiving a special promo code to share with their teams.
The season’s final performance falls August 30, with the Fall/Winter lineup soon to be revealed. Until then, there are only a few chances left to be part of this extraordinary summer in Pagosa’s theatrical history.
