The Archuleta Democratic Club will meet on August 4 at Coyote Moon at 11:30am. The topic of discussion will be the town of Pagosa Springs waste water problems.
All are welcome to attend.
David Harris, Town Manager, Karl Johnson, Public Works Director, and Leonard Martinez, board member of the Pagosa Springs Sanitation General Improvement District, will explain the situation in the town and the alternative proposals for fixing the problem. Although this is a town issue, the resolution of it may impact the entire county financially, so it is important that we have all the correct facts.
The Archuleta County Democratic Club meets every month with a speaker presenting at noon. The Club gives local Democrats the opportunity to meet with other Democrats and to hear speakers from the community, to meet candidates for local and national offices, and to hear about topics of timely interest.
Please plan to come by 11:30am to order lunch before the presentation begins. Having cash will expedite ordering.
