Democratic Club to Consider ‘Pagosa Community Initiative’ at Luncheon

By Lynn R. Frederick

The Archuleta Democratic Club will meet on Monday, July 14, at 11:30am at Coyote Moon.

The speaker will be Rebecca Tenpenny of Pagosa Community Initiative (PCI). PCI’s mission is to provide services for Archuleta County residents to increase wellness and to create a place of belonging for everyone in our community. It offers out-of-school-time programming for K-12 students, family services, and adult education.

Please come and learn more about this worthy organization and how you can help support its mission.

The Archuleta County Democratic Club meets every month with a speaker presenting at noon. The Club gives local Democrats the opportunity to meet with other Democrats and to hear speakers from the community, to meet candidates for local and national offices, and to hear about topics of timely interest. All are welcome to attend. Each month we designate a non-profit to receive donations. This month it will be PCI.

Please plan to come by 11:30am to order lunch before the presentation begins. Having cash will expedite ordering. For more information, you may email lynnfrederick1@gmail.com
