DUST2 Announces 2025 Programming in Pagosa

As spring sets in, DUST2 — is gearing up for its 2025 programming.

Both the middle school summer camp and the fall cycling team have become very popular over the last few years, so spots are limited in both programs. Make sure to sign up quickly.

DUST2 works to 1) encourage bicycling as an active, lifelong sport, 2) develop a sense of community within individuals, groups, and other organizations, 3) provide stewardship to create and maintain bicycle riding opportunities, 4) oversee the operations of a youth mountain bike team.

The name DUST2 initially came about as the need was identified for a non-profit that could raise funds for trail building efforts in the urban area of downtown Pagosa Springs. Hence DUST2: Developing Urban Single Track, was born. The “2” came with the “Teams” integration. Over time DUST2 has expanded work out of the urban area and into the rural surrounding forested areas. Perhaps now it is “Developing Ultimate Single Track and Teams”…

New in 2025, we will be offering two weeks of middle school summer camp. The first week will be June 9-13 and the second week will be July 7-11. Programming runs from 8am to noon each day. Kids will focus on different skills as well as ride the fun trails we have here in Pagosa Springs.

Summer camp is open to kids going into the fifth through eighth grade in the fall.

The fall cycling team starts July 21 for the high school team and July 28 for Adventure Team.

Adventure Team is open to kids going into sixth through eighth grade and the high school team is open to kids going into the ninth through 12th grade in the fall.

Students in high school will have the opportunity to race with the Colo- rado High School Cycling League if they choose to. Middle school students focus more on skills and adventure riding.

Registration for both summer camp and fall team opens on April 1. Registration links will be posted on Facebook and Instagram, as well as on the DUST2 website, www.dust2pagosa.org.
