Are you looking for an affordable home in Pagosa Springs? PSCDC is pleased to invite you to an Open House where you can explore two of our beautiful homes available for purchase through our affordable workforce housing program.

The Open House will be held tomorrow, Thursday, February 13 from 4-6pm. The homes are located at 22 Lassen Drive and 76 Mansions Circle.

This is a fantastic opportunity to tour the homes, learn more about the application process, and have your questions answered. We are currently accepting applications for our all our available homes, and we encourage you to apply if you’re interested in purchasing.

The Pagosa Springs Community Development Corporation (PSCDC) serves as the economic development agency for all of Archuleta County and Pagosa Springs. In February 2023, we were tasked with addressing workforce housing and identifying barriers to bringing attainable housing to our community.

Over the course of 2023, we received 35 parcels of land from the County government to launch a workforce housing project. This initiative has been a tremendous community effort, made possible through the dedication of the Town of Pagosa Springs, Archuleta County and its Commissioners, PAWSD, PLPOA, and many others. Their collaboration and commitment were instrumental in making affordable workforce housing a reality.

We are incredibly proud and honored to have closed on our first two homes on February 10. To commemorate this milestone, Executive Director Emily Lashbrooke presented each homebuyer with a cast-iron key — designed to resemble a church key — symbolizing the deep collaboration that made this project possible. Homeowners were encouraged to hang this key in their new home as a reminder that their home was made possible by a community-wide collective effort.

Both homebuyers were visibly moved as they completed their walk-throughs and stepped into their new homes. We wish them a lifetime of happiness in their new community.
