‘Lickety-Split’ Presents Family-Friendly Improv Comedy Show Tonight

Lickety-Split Comedy is super excited to announce our first ever back-to-school tailgate party and improv show. This family-friendly event at the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts will feature a food truck out front of the theater, so you can grab dinner before you head inside for some fun ‘made-up on the spot’ comedy by improvisors, based on your suggestions.

And we will be asking for some kid volunteers from the audience. This show —tonight, Tuesday August 13 — will be appropriate for ALL AGES.

Founded by local parents and comedians Karisa Bruin and Scott Morehead, Lickety-Split is thrilled to be able to bring family-friendly comedy to our small mountain town.

Food available from 5:45pm and show starts at 7pm. Adult tickets are $10 and kids’ are $5. Purchase online in advance or at the door, and celebrate the last days of summer with us and your kids! The show will run about 1 hour so everyone can still be home and in bed at a reasonable hour.

Lickety-Split Comedy is a comedy and improvisation group founded by veteran performers Karisa Bruin and Scott Morehead, who both came up through the Chicago comedy scene and have  spent the last 20 years treading the boards of improv and sketch theaters large and small in Chicago, New York, LA and beyond.  Karisa recently made her Thingamajig debut in Karl Isberg’s Last Call at the Riptide, and both Karisa and Scott appeared in Thingamajig’s recent production of Tiny Beautiful Things. Lickety-Split offers improvisation classes focusing on games, character development, and ensemble work. Classes are currently open to anyone, regardless of experience level. A willingness to learn and have fun is all that is required. Lickety-Split’s mission is to bring fun and laughter and joy to their audiences and students and they believe whole-heartedly that anyone can learn to improvise.
