The Pagosa Springs tradition of orchestrating “The World’s Shortest Saint Patrick’s Day Parade” continues next Saturday, March 14, at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church.
All Pagosa residents and visitors are welcome to attend this annual rite of spring, with a variety of activities from 11am to 12:30pm.
Parking will be easy in the adjacent lots at either the front lot at the medi- cal center or at the Pope John Paul II Catholic Church. The parade itself will step off at 11:15am. Attendees are encouraged to participate in the parade as children are invited to join St. Patrick on her float and canine lovers can march in the parade with their leashed dogs.
Immediately after the parade, free chili dogs will be served to all comers and Irish coffee will be for sale.
The Irish bagpipers have their instruments tuned.
So, dig out your emerald green outfits and come early so that you don’t miss the fleeting but fabulous moments of Pagosa’s “World’s Shortest Saint Patrick’s Day Parade” next Saturday.
