Business Assistance Update
Downtown showed real grit in 2025. With the US Highway 160 Reconstruction and two 100-year flood events in October, businesses have been navigating a lot of challenges. If additional support would be helpful, we have two programs available.

Low-Cost Loan Program
The loan program is live! Businesses affected by construction can apply for loans between $1,000–$10,000. Questions? Contact Jenny Stollar at Region 9: Jenny@region9edd.org or 970-247-9621.

Archuleta County Main Street Grant Program
Archuleta County created this grant program to help businesses impacted by the CDOT US 160 Pagosa Springs Reconstruction. Grants range from $500–$5,000 to provide more immediate relief.

Basic requirements:

  • Located within the Pagosa Springs Main Street District
  • 25 or fewer full-time equivalent (FTE) employees
  • Physical business address and presence within the district
  • In operation for at least one year prior to applying

Grant awards are subject to final BOCC approval and available funds. For details and an application, visit the Archuleta County website or contact: Chad Eaton, Finance Director at ceaton@archuletacounty.org.
