GOAL High School, based in Pueblo, Colorado and serving Colorado high school students statewide, has been named a 2025 Denver Post Top Workplace Culture Excellence winner. This recognition is based on anonymous employee feedback and celebrates organizations excelling in workplace culture.
GOAL High School received awards in three categories: Culture Excellence, Work-Life Flexibility, and Purpose & Values.
The Culture Excellence award signifies that staff feel valued. Their ideas are listened to and, and they have a high degree of confidence in their leadership. Employees enjoy their work and believe that the mission and vision are positive and meaningful. The Work-Life Flexibility Award recognizes that GOAL has built and nurtured a culture that allows staff to meet the demands of their personal lives while maintaining a high-performance level of work. The Purpose & Values Award celebrates organizations that have successfully communicated the mission and vision and created a strong belief throughout the school that the work they do is meaningful, worthwhile and rewarding.

Top Workplace awards are based on a research-backed employee engagement survey. Energage CEO Eric Rubino noted that these awards are a “badge of honor, reflecting authentic employee feedback.”
GOAL High School serves more than 6,500 students across 38 locations in Colorado, offering a personalized education model combining online learning with face-to-face instruction and social-emotional support. Their mission is to develop productive members of society through a caring, supportive and personalized learning environment. GOAL’s staff, more than 680 strong, believe in the cause and have worked hard to see upwards of twelve hundred students cross the graduation stage.
