Registration is now open for the 2024 Archuleta Food Summit on Saturday, May 11, at the Pagosa Springs High School. Please join us for this fun-filled day to learn about local food production, connect with the community, and share a delicious lunch!
The day will feature an opening presentation and two breakout sessions featuring information about our local food system, from how to grow and produce food locally, where to get local foods, and how to support local composting efforts. After the breakout session, attendees will participate in a networking farm-to-table lunch and have the opportunity to join an optional tour of the high school grow dome and compost system. Siembra La Cena is off to a great start! Last week was the first session of the Siembra La Cena gardening class, with great participation from our community. Students are excited to be getting started with planning their gardens this spring and that they can learn in the language of their hearts (Spanish). We are excited to learn alongside this group to prepare for this growing season.
